Brewers Team Report (Yahoo! Sports)
The Seth McClung-Dave Bush experiment is about to begin. Manager Ned Yost confirmed Friday that he intends to use both McClung and Bush in the same spot in the rotation. McClung will pitch on the road, beginning Monday in St. Louis, and Bush at home, with his first assignment next Saturday against Houston. Yost is going to the radical plan because Bush has been much better at home (4-2, 2.49 ERA) than on the road (1-6, 6.95). Conversely, McClung has been slightly better on the road (1-1, 3.28) than at home (4-4, 4.95). "I don't think this is anything new or spectacular," said Yost. "I think it's been done over the ages. "I'm not saying how long I will do it. It could be two weeks.
