Seahawks Team Report (Yahoo! Sports)
The Seattle Seahawks are going to have a very difficult decision to make regarding rookie running back Justin Forsett, a seventh-round choice from California. It would be one thing if Forsett had had only a good week of practice and one good game. Then, the coaches could waive him off as a one-hit wonder. But Forsett has been perhaps the best player in training camp. He led the team in rushing in its intrasquad scrimmage and its second preseason game and would have led the team in rushing in its first preseason game had he not been thrown for a four-yard loss on the Seahawks' final offensive play of the game. Here are the issues with Forsett: He is small. Though he is listed at 5-8, 194, he is more like 5-6.

Orton outplays Grossman, Bears lose in OT, 29-26 (AP)

Bloodied and bandaged, Rex Grossman now seems baffled about his fight for the Bears' quarterback job. Grossman started and completed 9 of 15 passes with one interception in a harried, sputtering quarter and a half before Kyle Orton led Chicago to a field goal during a crisp two-minute drill in the Bears' 29-26 overtime loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday night.

Trufant's terrific life (AP)

The only bad move Seattle Seahawks cornerback Marcus Trufant has made recently was charging at burly teammate T.J. Duckett in practice. The powerful Duckett outweighs Trufant by more than 50 pounds. He dropped his shoulders after a catch and hit the cornerback, causing Trufant's contact lens to be popped out of his left eye, through his facemask and onto the practice field.

That means more time for Kerney in his $1,200 hyperbaric chamber and on silver-lined "earthing" sheets.

He's again stuck in a group of running backs, each trying to stand out and earn time on the field. "You always want the ball in your hands, but at the end of the day it comes down to victories," Duckett said.
